Frequently asked questions
A product did not import correctly
Some stores publish limited product metadata. You can still save the link, then edit the item title, price, image URL, and notes manually.
A price did not change
Prices refresh only when you request a refresh. Retailers may block automated metadata requests or show different prices based on location, membership, configuration, or availability.
Notifications are not appearing
Open WantWorth Settings and confirm price-alert notifications are enabled. Then open iOS Settings → Notifications → WantWorth and verify that notifications are allowed.
The privacy lock is unavailable
Set a passcode on the device, then return to WantWorth Settings. Face ID or Touch ID is used when available, with the device passcode as a fallback.
How do I back up or restore my data?
Open WantWorth Settings → Your Data. Export creates a JSON backup. Import validates a selected backup and asks for confirmation before replacing your current data.
Why does a retailer show a different price?
WantWorth reads publicly available information from the product page you saved. The final price may change because of taxes, shipping, membership, product options, location, or a retailer update. Always confirm the price on the retailer's site.
