GlowWalk Lite Privacy Policy

Overview

GlowWalk Lite shows daily walking, hydration, and goal progress. It does not have a developer-operated account, analytics service, or advertising network. Health progress and app preferences stay in Apple Health and local storage on your devices.

Health data

With your permission, the iPhone app reads steps, walking distance, flights climbed, and water intake from Apple Health. It writes only the water intake you choose to log. The Apple Watch app requests step-read and water-write access for its progress and quick logging. If Apple Health steps are unavailable, the iPhone app may use Motion & Fitness step data as a backup. GlowWalk keeps recent progress, selected-day summaries, goals, and hydration history in local app and widget storage. Health information is not sent to Henry's Dev, advertisers, or data brokers.

Weather and location

Local weather is optional. After you connect it, GlowWalk uses When-In-Use location to update conditions while the app is active and to look up weather for a day you select. Before requesting data from Apple's WeatherKit service, the app rounds the location to a coarse area. It does not save your coordinates or send them to a Henry's Dev server. Current weather and required source attribution are cached locally for the app and widgets. Widget weather expires after three hours without a refresh.

You can choose an external weather app or website. Opening one leaves GlowWalk and is subject to that provider's privacy practices.

Notifications and widget data

If enabled, notifications are used for hydration reminders. The Home Screen widgets and Apple Watch use local shared storage or device communication to display recent progress. Optional intelligent wording runs on the device; its reliability and reminder-learning information is kept locally.

Purchases

App Store purchases are handled by Apple. The upcoming paid-download update includes all features and has no in-app purchase or subscription flow. Earlier versions may have offered an in-app purchase. Henry's Dev does not receive your payment card details.

Analytics, advertising, and accounts

GlowWalk Lite does not include third-party advertising, user accounts, or third-party analytics SDKs. It does not use Health data for advertising, marketing, or data mining.

Your choices and deletion

You can change Health, Motion & Fitness, location, and notification permissions in system Settings. Deleting GlowWalk removes its local app data; Health records already saved in Apple Health remain under your control in the Health app. You can delete those records there.

Changes to this policy

If future versions add features that affect privacy, this policy will be updated before those changes are released.
